JESSICA KELLY

Jessica has been an advocate for women, children, and families since 2002. Working in areas of K-12 education advocacy, higher education regulation and policy, public service, and law, she has developed a full range of skills to serve clients and the community well.

Jessica continues to develop her legal practice in estate planning, including for folks who want to protect vulnerable loved ones, guardianships/conservatorships and their alternatives, estate and trust administration, adoption, collaborative divorce, and civil mediation.  She has earned certificates from the Institute of Continuing Legal Education for Probate & Estate Planning and General Civil Mediation and a certificate from the William & Mary Law Institute of Special Education Advocacy.  Jessica is proud to use these skills to help others achieve their goals.

Jessica’s advocacy on behalf of students and families has included collaboration locally, at the state level, and in Washington D.C., where she has fought for equitable funding for public education and the rights of students from marginalized and underrepresented backgrounds. She served as an Ann Arbor Public Schools Board of Education Trustee from 2016 to 2022, holding leadership positions at the district and county levels, as former chair of the Ann Arbor Democratic Party, as well as various volunteer roles in the community.
